Meals

During our Mera Peak climbing trip, we will have the opportunity to savor a variety of cuisines, including Nepalese, Tibetan, Indian, and continental fare. Our hotel in Kathmandu will provide a buffet-style breakfast, while all meals – including breakfast, lunch, and dinner – will be served during the trekking and climbing sections. We can also look forward to special welcome and farewell dinners, which are sure to be delightful culinary experiences.

Accommodation

During our trip, we will be staying at Yatri Suites & Spa or similar accommodations in Kathmandu, standard teahouses during the trek, and tents during the climbing section. All of these are included in the cost of the trip. Most teahouse accommodations will only have shared toilet facilities, while foam mattresses will be provided for tent accommodation. Toilet facilities will be provided with necessary natural preservation during the climbing section.

All accommodations in Kathmandu and teahouses will be on a twin-shared basis, but each individual will be provided with a single tent during the climbing section. If you prefer a single room in Kathmandu, you can request one by paying a single supplement of USD 290. Please note, however, that there are several teahouses on the trekking route that do not allow single room accommodation. While paying a single supplement guarantees a single room in Kathmandu, it may not always be feasible in the trekking areas at higher elevations.
